When is goose fair 2011




















Over the years this fair has grown into the monster that it is today with over 70 rides available this year. There are all the classics, including dodgems, waltzers, a big wheel well in this case actually a giant wheel , the Matterhorn and a mirror maze.

They must be mad! If you fancy something a little more sedate, then have a wander around and eat warm doughnuts or my favourite, mushy peas and mint sauce. All you need to do is download the PDF , print it off and present it on the day with payment before the ride starts. So what are you waiting for?

For larger images click on individual photograph. The Fair was officially opened by our senior member, year old Mrs Florence Corbin, who is still an active member of the St Laurence congregation. The church was filled with stalls - selling a wide range of beautiful local crafts and delicious produce - together with exhibitions of wonderful art and exquisite quilts. The whole church was filled with a bustling crowd in a very happy atmosphere.
