Tough Mudder is a team-oriented mile km obstacle course consisting of mud and obstacles built to test your mental grit, camaraderie and all-around physical fitness. Tough Mudder puts camaraderie over finisher rankings and is not a race but a team challenge - no winner, no finisher medal, no clock to race against—just an ice cold beer and a few good scrapes from a day spent outside and free from everyday bullshit.

We are Tough Mudder. We put teamwork and camaraderie before our course time. We do not whine — kids whine. We help our fellow mudders complete the course. We overcome all fears. Real fun. Bring your friends. Bring your family members. Bring that dude in your office that always shows you photos of his cat. The more the merrier. Participating in a team event like Tough Mudder gets people in shape and out of their routines and comfort zones. FACT 2 — You can do it.

With the right amount of training and preparation, you can complete a Tough Mudder. At the start line all Mudders pledge to help their fellow Mudders complete the course and leave no Mudder behind. World's Toughest Mudder is open to athletes of all levels. However, to be a contender for prize money competitors must be a top finisher at a Toughest Mudder event. Regular WTM lap completion rules apply. Nighttime rules apply. Even the World's Toughest Mudders need some support. Being a Pit Crew member this year gives you better access than at past events. WTM will allow special access for Pit Crew members in the timing tent to view, sort and print race results for competitor review and overall race strategy. Pit Crew will also be permitted to stay in the Pit for the full 24 hours of the competition, with unlimited access to enter and exit the Pit.

We will send out this information on parking in our participant information packet weeks before your event. As TM's only truly global event, it offers both the opportunity for regular Tough Mudder teams to come together to face the most challenging of all Mudder events, while also offers the chance to meet and become friends with Mudders from around the world. Only those who are in top physical condition, maintain or are willing to initiate a regular workout regime - and most of all who have completed multiple Tough Mudders or events of comparable difficulty - should even consider registering.

Ultimately, however, this event is not about how fast you can run or how much you can lift or having a set of six-pack abs. It is about having the determination, strength, stamina, and mental and physical grit to go 24 hours, alongside the most hardcore Mudders on the planet, and beyond what you ever thought you would be able to accomplish.
