While experimenting with different paints and coatings on my own car, I came across a product called Plasti Dip. Plasti Dip back then was very different than the products we sell and use today - but the potential was clear. I became obsessed with testing, changing and experimenting with the products, and soon a relationship between myself and Plasti Dip International was born. After fine tuning the products to be safe, reliable and overall awesome; DipYourCar's original website was launched.

Again, any moisture on the car will affect the finish. Plastidip is a lot easier. It can be done with almost no prep work. Paint will last a lot longer, but will require cleaning, sanding, primer etc. If you are planning on getting new wheels soon anyway, plastidip might be an option.

Much cheaper than paint. Plasti - Dip is thick compared to paint so it will hide a lot of things that paint will highlight. If you don't like the color, peel it off. Plasti dip will not leave a residue or any damage to your car's original paint.

The Dip Release enables you to easily peel off excess Plastidip spray from the tire wall, so you don't have to worry about covering up the tires. You'll want to avoid the lip of the rim, though, as this can compromise the sticking power of the Plastidip and lead to peeling.
